Burgoyne Bay, waterlot 384, Cowichan District is located on the west side of Salt Spring Island, at the north end of Sansum Narrows across from Maple Bay, in a small bay that provides protection to the float from winds and waves to the south and east. The floats are accessed from a 36.9m long timber pedestrian trestle. The gangway is steel with wood planking and is 1lm long and l.2m wide. The float is treated timber and its dimensions are 3.7m by 19.Sm. At night the end of the float is marked with a solar powered beacon.  While there are no services at Burgoyne Bay, there are some parking sites available and road access to the Island’s city centers.

Burgoyne-Bay-dockOne-half of this float is reserved (tie-up rail painted yellow and signage posted) for the Burgoyne Bay Residents Association and the other half is for short-term (48 hour maximum) transient use.  Transient rates are posted (see Rates) at the wharfhead and an honor pay box with payment envelopes provided.  A wharfinger regularly attends the facility to collect fees from the honor box and to note any maintenance requirements.
